How do GearGrid lockers differ from the competition?
Many things distinguish our lockers from those of our competitors. These include:
- GearGrid lockers are manufactured in the USA with ASTM spec materials. Our competitors’ lockers are manufactured off-shore with unknown spec materials.
- GearGrid lockers are made with 3″ square grids for easy shelf and accessory adjustments. Our competitors use diagonal grids, making hanging and moving shelves more difficult.
- GearGrid lockers come with a back wall panel for additional storage, mounting space, wall protection, and security. Our competitors only offer back wall panels at an additional cost.
- GearGrid’s top and bottom rails span sections of 2-3 openings for greater support and durability. Our competitors’ locker rails are constructed in single openings, requiring more hardware joints.
- GearGrid lockers are finished with a durable TGIC powder coat for UV stability. Our competitors use a standard epoxy finish that is not UV stable and can “chalk” over time.
- GearGrid’s apparel hooks snap easily into place—and stay there. Our competitors use flimsy hooks that slip over the grids, leading to accidental detachments.
- GearGrid mobile lockers come with 4 swivel casters and secure locking capabilities. Our competitors only offer two swivel casters for decreased mobility.
