The Town of Ixonia Fire Department in Wisconsin improved their fire station storage with GearGrid’s Standard Wall Mount Lockers—creating a more organized and accessible setup for turnout gear and equipment.
Mounted above the floor, the lockers keep gear off the ground, making cleaning easier while helping maintain a more open, efficient apparatus bay layout. Within each locker opening, integrated storage features—including Top-Side Storage Shelves, SecureBoxes, GearHangers, and Drop Shelves—provide dedicated space for gear, personal items, and accessories, keeping everything organized and ready for response.
To support additional equipment storage, the department also utilizes GearGrid’s BackBoard Rack system. Designed to maximize space and improve retrieval speed, each rack holds up to five backboards and secures them with heavy-duty Velcro straps.
Finished in a custom two-tone powder coat, the system delivers a cohesive look while maintaining durability for daily use in a high-demand fire service environment.
